The brand was first established in 1972 in the Shiga prefecture in Japan as a wholesaler in porcelain and ceramic tableware. From 1980s to 2000, it expanded to import and distribute selected European table and glassware brands to Japan. But in the mid 1990, the company started to produce original ideas to fit the Japanese lifestyle with high-quality and unique products. Today, the team members work with different freelance designers based on the design codes and materials chosen, so they can develop a wide specialised assortment.
